Description

IN PRAISE OF WOMAN

Volume – Four

This volume delves into the lives of those women who, in common parlance, are called ‘sisters’ or ‘nuns’ interchangeably. Unlike other Christian churches, Catholic Church has a large number of them who live and die for God and others.

The author makes an attempt to clear up the mystery attending to sisters’ life so as to help girls interested in religious life; it also tries to give some glimpses of nuns’ life to parents, who often try to dissuade their daughters from becoming sisters – some for selfish reasons and others in honest horror. It is indeed a useful guide to sisters themselves for revitalizing their appreciation of their calling as a loving sacrament of God’s saving presence.
