Niklaus Kuster is a Swiss Capuchin. Born in 1962, he studied history and theology, received his doctorate in Franciscan spirituality and teaches at several universities and theological colleges in Europe. As a researcher, he has been focusing on both Francis and Clare of Assisi, their biographies and the spirituality of their Orders for the past 20 years.
The translation of this biographical synopsis was provided by Poor Clare Colettinesat the Ty Mam Duw monastery in North Wales (United Kingdom). The community has moved to England and is living in the Marian House of the Holy Spirit at Bulwell, Nottingham.
