COMPROMISE MORALITY
Moral choice is one of the most difficult thing in a conflict situation keeping in mind the ethical aspect of being right and also with theological responsibility for being a committed Christian. Often the message is altered and diluted to justify an action where the conscience is kept closed to keep oneself ease at compromising situations. The author here explains about different sins and sinful nature of man because of which the difficulty of choice and compromising with the situation take place. Practical application based on the moral values and ethical judgment will lead to a better choice and understanding the situation in a manner that will be fair and just in the Christian way to keep the evil away.
About the Author
Dr Felix Podimattam is one of the best-known moral theologians in India and outside. Besides his full time job as a professor, he finds time to write books at an amazing rate. He has authored 90 books. Besides his Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Mysore, he holds a Licentiate in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, and subsequently a Doctorate in Moral Theology from the Alphosian Academy, Rome, His post-doctoral studies were pursued in Washington, DC, U.S.A. At Present he is professor of moral theology at St. Francis Theological College, Kottayam, Kerala.
