Jacob Srampickal has a doctorate in Development Communications from the University of Leeds, Northern England (1986-90) and has done special studies in films from FTII, Pune. He was the President of the Catholic Association for Media (Unda/OCIC) in India and Asia (1992-2002) and has authored a number of books on communications and media. He had been a jury member at various international film festivals, is co-founder and first Principal of NISCORT (National Institute of Social Communications, Research and Training), Delhi. He has been part of the committee for developing the PG Diploma syllabi in Mass Communications for IGNO and Jamia Hamdard Universities. Presently, he teaches at the Communications Department of the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome.
Leela Joseph has been an educator for over two decades. She holds a diploma in Pastoral Communication from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome. Has taught .Media Education and Pastoral Communication at NISCORT, Delhi for four years. Besides her qualifications in education and media, she has studied Theology at the Regina Mundi Institute, Rome and a Diploma in Counselling from India. Presently, she is pursuing her doctoral studies on the Ethics of Cyberspace from the University of Amsterdam.
