The Recreated Psalms embraces the whole field of the emotions, from despair to hope and happiness. WORTH members have made an attempt here to reconstruct spirituality in the socio-cultural context of India. One such is the Prayer of a babe in her mother’s womb, which took away my sleep. These authors have fulfilled the need for empowerment throughout, especially ‘The Self as Temple of God”(Ps43). These could bring a lot of changes in women, who believe themselves as unclean, unholy and junk.” (Mrs.Dhanaseeli Dhivyanathan, woman theologian)

WORTH is an acronym for Women Religious Theologizing.

WORTH is an interest group of Women Religious, meeting annually since 1990 to develop an Indian feminist Theology in India, based on our involvement with women at the grassroots. The members of WORTH are theologically qualified and a feminist perspective guides our reflection process. We are in solidarity with all women who seek to develop their potential as persons in service of God’s Reign
